Should I make an appointment for Chinese Embassy in Dublin?

When we travel to Dublin to apply for our Chinese visas, is it necessary - or preferable - to make an appointment at the Embassy before we go?

Hi, appointment is not required, you can visit the embassy in person or submit application through someone entrusted.
