About:Huangshan Weather

Hi we plan to visit Huangshan early Sept. is it a good time? What will the temperature be like?

Which is the recommended way to go from Shanghai to the mountain?
What airline flies there?
Where shall we stay in town before going to the Mt.?
How do we get to the mountain from town?
Any recommended hotels for town and mountain?

Yes, it will be a good time to visit in early Sep. when the average temperature shall be around 20C and on the top of the mountain, it will be lower. If you wanna climb up to see the sunrise, it is necessary to take along or rent a down/woolen jacket. Don't forget umbrella or raincoat either.

I remember the Shanghai Airline operates the planes between. But in my opinion, it is not an ideal way to travel. From Shanghai to the scenic area, it is suggested to take a direct bus at Shanghai South Bus Station.

Well, if you go to the town, you can stay near Tunxi Bus Station, where there are direct bus to the scenic area. I know the Hukaiwen Hotel and Shengshi Qitian International Hotel nearby are good ones.
