About:Beijing Weather

My 11 year old wants to see the Great Wall. I am considering to take her to Beijing in late Nov/ early Dec. Is it a good time to go?

Also, would BJ be safe enough for a mother & child to move around on our own? Should we join a tour group instead? We prefer the freedom of a free & easy travel. Also, what are other suggestions if we will be in BJ for 5 days?

It may not be good time for kid to visit the Great Wall at that time, as it would be cold and snow probably falls. If there is any chance, you can travel there around Oct.

Well, it would be safe enough for a mother and child to move around the city. Don't worry!As you would like an easy and free trip there, it is suggested to only hire a private tour guide.
