About:Marriage Registration in China

Am I ready for marriage in China

I have my single status certificate authorized from the notary, state of Texas, and the Chinese consulate. I am divorced and the consulate kept my divorce decree. I also have my passport, birth certificate, pictures of my gentleman friend, and ID. I am going to send him these documents to be translated in Mandarin. Do I have everything that I need before I travel? I will also have copies of my divorce decree just in case. Please respond.

Yes, these are enough, make sure prepare Chinese translations of those documents for this purpose. You can also contact the local Civil Affairs office directly if they want any other documents.
