About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

HK-Guangzhou-Nanning- HK

Hi

My family and I are Australian. We are flying from Hong Kong to Guangzhou and then to Nanning where we will stay for 2 days and either fly immediately out of Nanning or back to Guangzhou and then back to Hong Kong. I don't think we qualify for the 72 hour visa but just wanted to check.

You need to apply for a Chinese visa in advance for this visit. The 72 hour free transit is for air passengers flying direclty through Beijing, or Shanghai or Guangzhou to a third country/region.
