Hi, you are only able to get a visit L for a short stay because you are not married. For application itself, an invitation letter from your boyfriend is required, as well as copies of his passport, residence permit and Chinese visa. If he will shoulder all your travel expense, his bank statement is required as well. Please try to contact the embassy directly for more details.
