About:Chinese Consulate in New York

Can Visa in U.S be mailed to me

After I make the application in person at the NYC office, can I provide a special envelope to have it mailed to me?

I am afraid not. If you can not go in person, you may entrust someone else or a travel/visa agent to collect your passport at the visa office with the pick-up form.
