can i make the reservation for whole-trip train tickets at same timesame station?

hello,if I'm in Xian, can I book or buy the train tickets from Pingyao to Datong &/or from Datong to Beijing in the same time of Xian-to-Pingyao ticket reservation? Or I should be in Pingyao or Datong First?Thank you in advance.

No, you can not buy the ticket at railway station for different city. Besides, it depends on the departure date.  Normally, the ticket can be released to the publc 20 days prior to your travelling date. If you would like to buy the tickets at one time, you can use this website.
