renewal of z visa and residence permit in the chinese embassy in Italy - Rome

Hi, Because of the new regulations in PRC (the procedure needs 18 days, application can only be handed in one month before the expiry) I have no chance to apply the renewal in PRC and still get my mine in time for my next leave. So can I do the renewal also in Italy? What docuemtns do I need in order to do that?
