About:Beijing Capital Airport Express Train

Could someone please tell me how to get from Beijing Airp to Hotel in Dongcheng w/ a bag a bit heavy

Since I am not very clear about where you are. It is suggested to take a taxi to reach your hotel directly from the airport.
Or you can choose to use the airport plusing taxi to reach your hotel.
