About:China Tourist Visa

How to apply L visa from Thai citizen to china?

I'm a german and live and work for 3 years at china. My friend from thailand (thai citizen) would like to visit me there.
1. How long could my friend stay in china with me? 2. What is needed to apply for the L type? 3. I'm living in an appartment. Do my friend need to have a hotel reservation?

1. It depends on how many days the consular officers give to him.
2. His passport, a completed appplication form, the invitation letter and a recent passport size photo. You can provide him the invitation letter. And you need to provide your passport and resident permit copies.
3. He can stay with you at your apartment. But remember to remind him to register at the local PSB when he arrives.
