About status of my application and how i can track it???

hi,im a pakistani nationa and currently a medical student in china with resident permit.i have applied for HK tourist visa and send me all docuemts to HK immigration in HK last week....... according to china post my documents is already in HK but i havent heard from HK immigration any news tht they have received my documets or not and whats the status of my application and how i cn track it??? please guide me through this.....thanks
