About:China Customs Declaration

Hello, I am coming to Beijing on a student exchange program for 5 months. Is there away to enter with more than 20,000 CNY?

I obviously have a student visa and an official invitation from the government.

Hi, if you take more than CNY20,000 in, you need to declare that to the customs. Then you will be allowed to come in.

For security, it is suggested to deposit your money in bank card and exchange and withdraw that in China.
