Tourist visa to China for Tanzanians

Hi, you can apply in person from the Chinese embassy in Dar es Salaam with following documents:
1. Travel schedule
2. Hotel reservation in China and Round-trip ticket booking;
3. The latest 3 months bank-statements with adequate money
4. Proof of applicant's present occupation, e.g. employment letter, business registration certificate, salary slips, etc
5. Proof of the proposed leisure visit to Mainland China, e.g. receipt of joining a package tour
Basic requirements are your passport, application form, and photo.
f) Proof of company leave letter (if any)

Will the bank statement be required also when we are joining a group from Europe where all expenses have been paid in advance?

You are suggested to prepare for a bank statemnt in case of being required by consular officers. The receipt/confirmation of the paid package tour is helpful for application.
