mt emei & leshan + shanghai advice

Question

I am currently finalizing my itinerary for this October & seek some advice/opinions please. My plan is to catch an evening train from Chengdu arriving at Emeishan City around 8pm & stay in a hotel. The following day, visit The Giant Buddha in LS & Mt Emei & take a night train from Emeishan to Kunming. Is this the best option for 1 day to see Mt Emei & the Buddha? 2nd: I plan to fly in the evening from Lijiang to Shanghai (arriving at 11.30pm). Will taxi's be available at that time of night? Also, will there be any problems checking into 3star hotels then? Thank you

Hi, your plan to see Mt. Emei and the Buddha is good enough and you will surely cover the journey. As for the taxi service in Shanghai, it will be still available around midnight. Don't worry! Generally, you can straightly check in a hotel though you arrive that late. Most hotels in Shanghai are in service for 24h.
