About:Chinese Embassy in UAE

Visit visa for my wife

I am an Indian citizen residing in Dubai. I am working in a Chinese company and i am going to the head office in China for training for 6 months. I want to know whether i can take my wife in a L type for 30 days to China along with me. She is also an Indian citizen having valid residence permit in UAE. Please explain what are the procedures for taking the L type for my wife and also please mention the necessary documents required.

Hi, according to the new rule, your wife is able to apply for a S2 type one instead of the former family visit L from the Chinese consulate in Dubai.
Following documents are required:
1. Application Form with a recently-taken color photo glued to or stapled on.
2. Valid passport and a copy of information page.
3. The invitation letter issued by the foreigner in China, and Kinship Certificate are required.
4. UAE residence permit and copy.
5. Personal written statement (covering letter with details as follows: place to visit, name, address and contact number of the inviting person).
