About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Zimbabwe national exit and re-entry using travel document

I am a Zimbabwe national, studying in Shanghai for the last year. I recently applied for visa extension for 6 months. I am told it will be ready for collection on 2nd September, but I want to travel to Malaysia on 25th August. Is there any chance that I can get travel documents and be allowed to exit China an re-enter,using these travel documents Thanks I'm advance for your assistance.

You'd better go to the local PSB entry and exit administration department and see if there is a chance that you can get your passport back in advance. I don't know if there is rush or express service there. If so, you may ask them to deal with your application quickly.
