About:How to Take Shanghai Metro

Pudong Airport to Riverview Hotel, South Zhongshan Road

What is the easiest way to get from Pudong International Airport to the Riverview Hotel at 76 South Zhongshan Road, Huangpu District. Should I use the Maglev? Also, is it better to buy a Public Transportation Card when I first arrive at the airport, and if so what sort of money should I put on it. I will be travelling around Shanghai for 2 days to places like Qibao Water town and other close attractions.

It is not necessary to use the maglev. But if you want to experience, it is acceptable. You can take the maglev to reach Longyang Road Station where you can change to take subway line 2 to each East Nanjing Road Station. Then you can change to take a taxi to reach your hotel directly.
Otherwise, you can take the subway line 2 to reach East Nanjing Road Station directly.

You can buy a transportation card if you think it is necessary. If you want to buy a card, it is suggested to put about 50RMB in it. However, in my opinion, it is not necessary to get a card.
