About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

If I pay for my visa at the Chinese embassy in San Francisco, can it be mailed to me or can I receive it on the same day?

I am afraid that you have to go to the consulate to receive it or you may assign someone to get it on behalf of you. If you want to get it on the same day you submit your application, you need to submit it before 11:30 and pay 30 USD as rush service charge.
