Applying for China visa from Taiwan

Hi, I(Canadian) am living with Taiwan with my husband(Burkina Faso) and son(Canadian). My husband will be going to Beijing to a university to do some work on rock samples of his. He may need to go a few times in order to complete everything.
Is it possible that we all get multiple entry? Can we all apply for visitor visit with multiple entries? As he is working on his own samples, he will not be getting paid for this work, only using the facilities.
Any help would be great

Hi, you can have a try to apply for multiple entries with an invitation letter from the said university, showing need of multiple entries and including your name and your son's name. Proof of relationship may be required if necessary. BTW, if you reside in Taiwan, you should apply through a travel agency or airline from the Office of Commissioner of the Ministry of China Foreign Affairs in HK.
