my flight plan is from Singapore to Macau (2 days stay) to Hong Kong (3 days stay) then back to Singapore. Do I need to get any visa for Macau and/or Hong Kong?

Yes, you need to apply for a Chinese travel document from Chinese embassy in Singapore if you do not have a "港澳通行证".

Thanks, I understand that for China passport holders transit to HK does not require a visa or exit permits, would Singapore -> Macao -> Hong Kong -> Singapore be not considered a transit? Thanks!

No, it is not a transit. The free stay for 7 days only apply to mainland - HK/Macao - Singapore or Singapore - HK/Macao - mainland.
