x visa in hong kong/ physical examination ?

Hi,I am currently in Shanghai under an F but I have been accepted to a university in mainland for a period of 1 year.Can I apply for X in Hong Kong ? How long does it take ? Do I need to take the medical examination in order to get it or can I do the examination later when I arrive there and when I want to apply for residence permit ?Thanks,Jean

Hi, as I know, it is possible for you to apply for it in HK. But if possible, you can try to contact a visa agency for the latest information. Medical check record is required for it, you can also do this in Shanghai in advance.
