About:Getting to Macau

Getting from Macau to Shenzhen

Hi there,
I am planning to travel from Ma to Shenzhen. Is there any light rail or train to Shenzhen like HongKong to Shenzhen? If there is not, can I easily hop on a coach at M airport to Shenzhen? How long does it take and approximately how much is the coach fare?

From M, there is light rail or trains to SZ and there is no direct buses, too.
I think the best transportation between the two places are the ferry. From Macau Taipa Temporary Ferry Terminal, there are many ferries to reach Shekou Port in SZ.
The ferry takes about an hour and the ferry fare is around 180 to 210MOP.

If you want to take the buses, you need to take bus to reach Gongbei Port. Pass the port, you can reach Gongbei, Zhuhai. From Gongbei Bus Station, you can find direct buses to reach SZ. I only know the bus fare from the airport to Gongbei and it is 25HK$.
