what I need to visit a family in Canton China? I'm american citizen born in Guatemala CA.

An invitation letter from the family is required for your application. A single entry tourist L is enough. Generally, you are required to provide flight ticket and hotel bookings for application. But if you will stay with the said family, hotel bookings is unnecessary.0
