xinjiang, private tour by car for 2 persons

Question

Hi, I am planning a visit to XJ in mid sept. saw a documentary about that place,the must visit places are Kanas lake,Ghost city,border town of Kazahk,etc,etc. We are planning round trip of 12days . Pls recommend a good tour guide cum driver and  travel itinerary. pls include hotel/accomodations. no need first class rated, as long as there  are clean and with bathroom attached.

For the tour guide cum driver, it is suggested to find at Urumqi directly. You can ask the hotel you live in for help. For routes, I think besides the places you mentioned, Kanas Lake, Tianchi, the Kashgar and Turpan cannot be missed. I am afraid that I just heard these information from my friends and I can only suggest such kind information.

Hi there  frist i warmly welcome to XJ :one of my friend give you very useful info like me .mid of september is cold  at kanas lake and  north part of XJ  so i hihgly reccomand to you bringh some warm cloth with you , but for turpan and kashgar so nice to see all  . this is the best season for all fruits. The 12 days is good enogh to see all around  , (  ,tianchi, /turpan /,kucha /, hotan ,/ kashagr  ) the kanas lake takes at least 2 days  so please take flight for  kanas lake .
