sightseeing in beijing using public transportation, how?

dear sir/madam,can you tell me how can I use Dong si station to go to the( great wall, summer palace) using subway or buses and how much will it cost. and please tell me what is the attractions I have to see I will b staying in BJ for 8 days and how can I go to them from dong si station.as it is my first visit to chinathanks

From Dongsi Station, you can take the subway line 5 to reach Yonghegong Station where you can change to line 2 to reach Jishuitan Station. Get out of the station, you can walk to reach Deshengmen Station where you can find the bus 919 to take you to reach the great wall.From Dongsi, you can use the subway line 6 to reach Pinganli Station where you can change to line 4 to reach Beigongmen Station. Get out of the station, you can easily see the entrance of Summer Palace. Hope these information can help you.
