British passport holders living in France – tourist visa application

We are retired and resident here. Our pensions are paid into our UK bank account and we also have a UK address. Should we apply for it in France or the UK? What documentation do we need?

Hi, you can apply in France if you are residents there. If you apply for a tourist L type, round-trip ticket and hotel bookings are required. Basic requirements are as follows:
Original passport valid for at least 6 months, and a copy of the bio-data page;
Application forms (both Form A and Form B);
A passport-sized photo;
Your document of status in France.
