What is the best way to travel from Hong Kong to guangzhou shamian island ? Thank you

It is suggested to take a train at Hung Hom, HK to GZ East Railway Station. Upon your getting off, take local subway line 1 to Huangsha MTR Station. Getting out from Exit D, you can walk through the nearby overpass to the bridge to the island directly.
