About:China Transit Visa

Indian national transiting through Shanghai to Auckland and through HK on the way back to Germany

Do I need a transit visa for this transit? I have a 3 hour stopover in Shanghai on the way to Auckland and on my return I have a 3 hour stop over in Hong Kong. I dont intend to leave the airport during this time. So is it required. Thanks.

No, it is not necessary if you will not leave the airport in Shanghai. BTW, your passport is ok for use to transit freely in HK.
