Joining Shaolin Temple
Hi there, the shaolin monks have always interested me since a young age. the more i grow and mature spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally, the more i have become more interested in actually joining the temple permanently. i already understand that it will be vigorous training and that i can get the same martial arts forms in surrounding schools. I am not only looking to learn the fighting style, but i am looking to make a total change in my life style and live at the temple to learn how they see the universe. my question is this: is there an annual fee if you want to become a member of their temple? do they accept anyone? is there necessary prerequisite training? any information pertaining to the permanent residence at the temple would be very helpful, thank you!
