I am staying in Shanghai for 4 days with my wife and need to stay in an area good for shopping.

can you name the area so I can find a hotel there to book.

I think Nanjing Road area is the best place to stay. Nanjing Road is a famous commercial street in that city and you can find many hotels nearby.
