Generally speaking, you take the East Rail Line to reach Lo Wu. Then you can pass the border to reach Luohu in SZ. There you can take Luobao Line to reach the Window of the World directly.
The SZ subway costs about 5RMB. The metro fare in HK depends on which station you get on the metro.
For visa, you can get a temporary one at Luohu Border.
