Handicapped to visit Beijing, is it ok?

I am traveling to BJ for a few days with a friend who is unable to do a lot of walking or climbing stairs. What sights would be best for her to visit? We want to see the old China.

In my opinion, despite the Great Wall, most of the places can be reached in that city. You can accompany him to travel to the Forbidden City, the Tiananmen Square, the Hutong areas, the Summer Place to enjoy the traditional Chinese culture.
