alcohol on Chinese domestic flights

I'll be flying international from Europe to Beijing, and then I want to catch a domestic connetion. I want to buy some alcohol in duty free in Europe but heard that it is forbidden on Chinese domestic flights to carry alcohol even in your check-in luggage. is it true?

You can check in the alcohol and the total amount cannot be over 2kg.
