where is the best to stay in shantou?

hey, i'm going tomorrow to ST for one maybe 2 nights and i would like to stay in some central area, so i can go travel to nan'ao islands and qing'ao bay and also zhongshan park easily. also i want to be close to some good restaurants and coffee shops (and tea houses of course). which area do you recommend and maybe you can also recommend any nice hotels there (2-3 stars is fine). thank you very much!

Oh, maybe this is too late for you, but I recommend Longhu District to you. There the Vienna Hotel can be a good one.  It is within walking distance to Southland Mall, a comprehensive shopping mall. And it is around 10min driving distance to local Train Station and General Bus Station.
