Why are chopsticks important to the people of China?

They are tools for people to eat, which have similar function as the fork and knives in western dinner.
Without chopstickts, it is very difficult for Chinese people to eat.

Interesting question. We can not eat with our hands. That's why chopsticks is so important for us.
