staying at crowne plaza international beijing

Question

I need to figure out how i can go to the China International Exhibition Center (Old one in downtown china).Taxi?  I heard that it will cost roughly 100 RMB and 40 mins to get there from the hotel.  Does anyone know if this is true?Is there another way besides taxi that will be better?Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Do you refer to Crowne Plaza International Airport Hotel at Tianzhu Town, Shunyi District or the one near Wangfujing Street? If it is the former, the taxi fare shall be around CNY60-70 and it takes 25-30min. If it is the latter, you just need around CNY30 to pay the taxi cost. Well, if you confirm which one it is, I will provie more information about the transportation.

Thank you for the reply and help Sonya. The hotel I am taking is the one Is the one in shunyi district. It is very close to the PEK airport. I just been hearing that traffic is horrible and will take 1 hour. On Google it says its only 20km in distance.

If you refer to the one near the PEK airport, there is about 7 to 8km from the airport, so I think a taxi can take you to reach your hotel in about 15 to 20 minutes.

Hey Joyce,Thank you for your reply.I am actually referring to the Crowne Plaza near the PEK airport near the Shunyei district.However, I wanted to know the distance/time/cost to go from my hotel (Crowne Plaza near PEK airport) to the old China Internatioanl exhibition center (near Downtown/Central BJ)Thanks again :)
