About:China Visa Application in USA

Z Visa to teach in China.

My 3 children and I will be moving to Taizhou, Jiangsu where I will teach English. The school sent paperwork and said I need to get a Z at the embassy and ones for my children. I'm in New Orleans, how can I get them without driving all the way to Houston? Is there a consulate here? Can I apply by mail? Thanks!

If you mean New Orleans, you need to submit your application to Chinese consulate in Huston. Mail application is not acceptable. You can entrust someone else or travel agency for application if you do not want to go in person.
