About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Belgian passport

I hold a Belgian passport and will be traveling to Shanghai for less than 72 hours and require verification that I will not require a VISA to enter. I am traveling directly from Chicago in and out to Shanghai. Kindly confirm.

Yes, but make sure your flight shall not be a return trip like Chicago-Shanghai-Chicago. That is to say, the country of departure and destination should not be the same.
