Is it considered as high season? If yes then where can i book it first? When will be the convenient date to book for planning time on December 30, 2013?

You could book the tickets with travelchinaguide. The suitable time is one month before the travelling date. It is not high season during the New Year as the Chinese have their own lunar new year which is much more important.
