About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

My family and I, four of us are taking a 5D/4N free and easy holiday to Guilin this November.

I have booked the hotel in my name and therefore, the receipt only shows my name. I was told that all 4 names must appear in the receipt to apply for visa. Is this true?

I don't think so, but you may prepare documents showing your relationship, such as marriage certificate and birth certificates of your kids for application.
