About:Hong Kong Visa Application

just curious to know why my dependent visa is delayed so long?

i am a nepalese citizen came hk in last november and married a girl who is hk permanent resident.we applied for dependent one and its already 6 month.we showed every documents what they asked.my wife has a credit card loan which is auto payable and will be cleared in april 2014.i asked an immigration officer why my dependent one is being so late ?he told me everything is ok we are waiting for the higher permission.so, i want to ask if mine is delayed because of that credit card loan or?????even my wife's salary is not bad its around 25000 hk dollar .and i am bored all day at home just watching movies in my laptop.

How long have you been waiting for? It is said that it takes about six weeks to process a visa/entry permit application for residence as dependant upon receipt of all the required documents. You may contact the HK Immigration Department at (852) 2824 6111 for more information.

its been 6 months already i am waiting and still dont know when they are going to give me dependent one..hk immigration says just waiting for the senior's permission.same answer from 2 months.
