Can I get my fingerprints by the local authorities in Hangzhou Police Department?

I'm applying for my criminal background check report from the FBI in the USA. Is it possible for the local authorities to take the fingerprints for me since they are professionals, or are there agencies that offer such services for foreigners?

Hey Aaron,

I am a Chinese who stayed in America for two years. Now I want to visit a country but they ask me to get the no-criminal record when I stayed in the USA. I am already back to China. I visited the local police station but they told me that they couldn't record my fingerprints because they just did it for the crminals. The FBI needs the fingerprints from the trusted organizations like Chinese police station. But they don't do it for me.

I heard that an American guy who recorded his fingerprints successfully from the local police station in Beijing. Perhaps, you should try at the police station in Hangzhou. Good luck to you!

I'm having trouble finding a place in Nanchang to do them. Did you ever manage to get yours done? The US embassy provided a list of some places that will do them, but none are near me. The closest it seems is Xiamen and Fuzhou (Fujian's Fuzhou, not Jiangxi's).

You can try to contact with the local PSB of Nanchang to ask if they can offer such service. If it can be done, you don't need to go to Xiamen or Fuzhou for this. Just have it a try!
