I am moving Nanjing for study, please guide me what I should carry with me?

Mean garments, foot wear and other things.

How long will you stay in NJ? Anyway, generally it is warm enough there, with the annual average temperature of around 15C. Therefore, you can take both short-sleeved and long-sleeved shirts, jacket, jeans as well as windbreaker and sweater for cold period.
