Shanghai to Huangshan for a weekend visit

Hello, I want to visit Yellow Mountain from Shanghai over a weekend, maybe leave Shanghai Friday evening and come back Sunday night. What is the best way to travel? And what would be a suitable itinerary? Many thanks

It is suggested to take a direct bus at Shanghai South Bus Station to the Yellow Mountain Scenic Area. For the back journey, there are direct buses to Shanghai at Tangkou Bus Station, which is at the foot of the mountain.

Well, you can spend the whole weekend at the scenic area and stay a night at the top. On Fri. morning, take the direct bus to go back to Shanghai.
