About:Shanghai Shopping Malls

What is the best street/area to shop for local items in Shanghai?

I do not want to shop name brand items, but I want local keepsakes, Chinese items. I will be travelling alone, so is it safe to go there? Thank you!

Firstly, I'd like to tell you it will be safe enough to travel alone in the city. Don't worry!

To get local items for souvenirs, it is suggested to find at local Nanjing Road Pedestrian or Temple of City God (Cheng Huang Miao) area.
