About:Chinese Holidays

good idea for holidays during chinese national day?

hello, I`ll be in Beijing from 30-sept to 07-oct. That days are the national day. Is a good idea to be in Beijing these days? Also, I'm foreigner. Could I see the military parada on 01-oct? Thanks

I'm afraid it is not a good idea to travel in Beijing, one of the most popular destinations in China, during the National Holiday. It will be very crowded. You'd better think twice!

And is better in Xian or Guilin?

Trust me! Both of them are also popular destinations. Comparatively, if you have to choose one, Xian is recommended.

Anyway, the best way to have a nice trip is that you rearrange that and avoid the National Day Holiday.
