About:Visa Policy of China

I would like to find out which visa is suitable?

I want to visit a friend in china for more than 3 months and from there perhaps visit other asian countries?

You can apply for a tourist L with invitation letter from your friend. Please note a tourist L may not be approved with a duration of 3 months as you wish (usually 30 days). But if you need, you can apply for L extension while you are in there.

Thank you for your reply. Sorry but would you be able to tell me how long the application processing takes here in Zambia?I have checked on the Chinese consular's website here in zambia but can't find it.
