Dependent Visa Changes after July 1st

I am working in China (on Z). My wife was a student of a Chinese university (on X) and my kids were living here with us (on L, dependent on mama). Now my wife graduated and she has to go back along with the kids as their residence permit is going to expire by the end of July. I want to invite them again on Z as dependent, however, my department does not know from where to start, nor the staff in 公安局 know what are the Z depentdent requirments after recent changes. A kind of confusion.

Is simple inivitation letter from my department along with my residence permit, relationship certificate and work permit sufficient? and Can my family change theirs from X and L to Z dependent without going back?

Thanks

Hi, they should leave and apply for dependent Z in your home country. So far as I know, it is possible for them to get it approved if they provide invitation letter from your company, copies of your work Z, residence permit, marriage certificate and birth certificate.
