HI, I AM VERY EXCITED ABOUT VISITING SHANGHAI, CHINA !!

DO YOU HAVE ANY COMMENTS ON THE PROPERTY "CELEBRITY SERVICE APARTMENTS", HOW IS THE HOTEL FOR A FAMILY (1COUPLE 2 KIDS (11YRS & 16YRS). PLEASE LET ME KNOW THE NEAREST AND FAMOUS BARGAIN SHOPPING MARKET IN SH. WHAT ARE THE MAIN TOURIST POINTS I MUST COVER IN FOUR DAY'S VISIT. IS THERE A POSSIBILITY OF SNOWFALL DURING MY VISIT (31DEC-04JAN'14). HOW DO YOU SUGGEST ME TO TRAVEL FROM AIRPORT TO CELEBRITY SERVICE APARTMENTS (IS THERE A MRT OR BUS). HOW ABOUT THE PURE VEG. RESTAURANTS IN THAT CITY (NOT EVEN EGGS).
I HAVE LOTS OF QUERY TO BE ASKED .... HOPE YOU HAVE PATENT TO ANSWER ALL.

It is a perfect apartment for a family to live.
As I know, it is hard to find the bargain shopping market near your apartment, so I think you may get to reach Nanjing Road for shopping.

For four days in the city, the Yuyuan Garden, the Bund, the Huangpu River, SH Museum, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Xin Tian Di and Zhujiajiao water town are suggeted to go.
It may be hard to see snow falling in this city in southern part of China.

From the airport, you can take the subway line 2 to reach Central Avenue Station where you can change to line 9 to reach Dapuqiao Station. Get out of the station from Exit 3, you can walk along Xujiahui Road to reach South Ruijin Road and then walk along that road to find your hotel easily.

I know a veg. restaurant on Xietu Road. It is called Gongdelin and you can walk along Xietu Road to reach that restaurant easily.

THANKS A LOT AND I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR PATIENCE IN REPLYING TO MY MAIL. ALSO IF POSSIBLE PLEASE LET ME KNOW IS IT A WALKING DISTANCE FROM MY HOTEL TO NANJING ROAD OR DO I HAVE TO TAKE A BUS....!!!! SINCE MY WIFE AND BOTH KIDS ARE TOTAL INDIAN VEGETARIANS, CAN WE TAKE SOME PACKED READY FOOD/STORED FOOD FROM INDIA !! I AM ASKING YOU BECAUSE, THE CUSTOMS IN SH SHOULD NOT HARASS FOR THE SEALED FOOD PACKS (OF COURSE NO TIN FOODS) AND LET THEM X-RAY IT. WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST, ONE SHOULD BUY FROM SH.

From your hotel to Nanjing Road, you have to take a bus or taxi to reach Nanjing Road and there is about 6km from your hotel to Nanjing Road.
Yes, you can take some food from Indian, but it is not suggested to take so much, otherwise, you may not allowed to enter China. Or for some food, you can buy at local supermakets.

Thanks, I have noted. Please let me know the jiang amusement park is how far from my hotel...is it walking distance or to take bus/taxi. Do you have some idea of the park ticket cost (adult/child). What about the family safety on the road, during the evening time on the road (or generally in SH, is it safe to move free in the evening, like shopping etc.). What are all the precautions you suggest us to take during our visit (30Dec13-04Jan14) about safety, shopping, clothing etc.
